Objective of the Box game:
In this special Christmas game of Box game, the participants are required to open a gift wrapped in several layers while wearing oven mitts or gloves, a hat and a scarf. Ensuring lots of movement, the guests playing the Box game have more fun with this game than any other one can imagine.
Rules of the Box game:
To play the Box game, at least three to eight players are required to make it more absorbing and exciting. Fast a small gift, like a music CD, a tape or even a candy needs to be wrapped with tissue papers and placed in a box. After that this box has to be wrapped in a succession of larger boxes. You may use duct tape for the wrapping of each of these boxes. The number of layers should be kept a secret by the host.
To start the game of Box game a pair of dice is required and also a 9 × 13 inch baking pan to roll them in. A coat, a pair of oven mitts or gloves, a scarf and a hat is to be kept ready. All the players playing the Box game will then have to form a circle and the wrapped box will have to be kept in the middle on top of a table. A number between 1 to 9 will have to be selected to start the game, as whoever comes up with that number first starts this Christmas game. It is preferable to choose a rare number like four or three and then go to more common numericals. Now each player takes their chance to roll the dice and pass it to the respective player if he or she does not get the chosen number. When at last someone rolls the number of choice, he or she will then have to put on all the clothes – hat, scarf, coat, and mitts or gloves and try to open the wrapped box. The player will get to try until a new person rolls the same chosen number. Who ever finishes opening the most number of wraps wins this enchanting game of Box game.
