This game can be played by all kinds of people including the elderly as this is a passive type of game and very little movement is required. Memory Gift Exchange Christmas party game can be played by 4 or more players. To play this game you will require two decks of cards and 6-8 small prizes that can be wrapped or not wrapped.
Here are rules of how to play Memory Gift Exchange. You will require 2 decks of cards and 6 to 8 small inexpensive unwrapped gifts or "prizes" such as a half-dollar coin, a small block of postage stamps, pen, candy, small Christmas decoration etc to play this game. The game works best if all the prizes/gifts are attractive gifts. Place all gift items on a table. Shuffle each deck before starting the game. Distribute one deck equally among the participants.
The person who has a matching card may choose one prize from the table. Other players must note well who takes which gift. Once they have made their choice, they should try to keep the prize hidden anywhere near them and continue till all the gifts are distributed. The fun part of this game is that if a player "misses" by incorrectly matching a gift to a participant, he or she forfeits that turn. Continue playing until all cards have been called. Whoever ends up with a prize will keep it as the reward.
